Room interior at Rivendale Resort

Accommodation is provided in two units. One unit with twelve rooms of standard facilities and the other with six superior rooms. The rooms at Rivendale are large and airy, in single-storied buildings, specially designed for comfortable long-term living and can be occupied by a single person or a couple.

The comfortable bedrooms surpass two star standards of the Tourist Board. The entire Retirement Home is fully tiled. The spacious rooms allow a small private living area and the rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, wardrobe, writing table, bedside shelves, dressing table and a coffee table. All rooms have attached toilets with luxury fittings including bidets and are supplied with hot and cold running water. Rivendale’s services include maid service and personal laundry as well.

For more discerning residents Rivendale offers six bed-sitters with private varandah, pantry and cooking facilities for those wish to make a snack at their own convenience, although the Resort provides all meals and tea etc. Superior rooms could also be air conditioned on request.

Bedrooms lead to a wide front verandah and face a landscaped courtyard with waterfalls and flowing waters with exotic fish. All facilities in Rivendale Resort are accessible by wheelchairs.

Facilities are available for residents to have their personal cassette radio or a small TV. Rivendale welcomes able retired persons and provide a limited number of covered parking spaces for residents' vehicles.

Residents can bring a limited number of their favorite furniture with prior approval, provided they do not crowd the rooms and inconvenience cleaning.
